I would give 0 zeros if possible.....Recently moved to the area called to see if accepting new patients, was told yes. When asked what insurance I have, I explained I just moved here from Florida and was switched to a nationwide Florida Blue Cross plan, the receptionist said they didn't take any insurance from Florida. I tried to explain I was moved to a NATIONWIDE plan and asked if she could check if they accept my insurance and I was told she was unable to check. Kathy Powers, NP has been my PCP for the last 5+ years and she is absolutely the BEST. I highly recommend her for anyone. She spends so much time with you, does thorough assessments, is very pleasant and down to earth, extremely intelligent, and explains/ educates on topics so well.
This facility is a complete joke. I called a total of four times before getting a call back from the office manager. The first time that I called I requested my blood work script be sent either electronically to Quest Diagnostics or sent in the mail to my house due to not being given it on my last visit. I was told that neither of these could be done due to HIPAA. This is absolutely absurd, considering I work in healthcare and know a great amount about HIPAA. I just feel like every time I call needing care there is a reason I can't get checked out and I am referred to urgent care anyway. Most recently I called the answering service over the weekend. I was told the doctor would call me. I waited the whole day and I never received a call.
Wonderful care, hard to get on the phone. All in all would recommend. *Edit* looking at this review 4 years later, they’ve gotten a lot easier to get ahold of. Updating my rating.
