I have been a patient at this center for several years. Today I had an appointment and recently had a major procedure so an annual visit was important. My appointment was at 8:30 and I drove over an hour to get there in traffic. I was late unfortunately but once I arrived I was told to reschedule since there was not enough time before the next appointment. Making appointments are a hassle and does not honor them, when you call them out on it they tell you to go elsewhere. Aside from the medical director which is great the rest of the staff can’t do anything right.
After hearing Dr Barnard on a podcast say that they see patients with Medicare, which is my PRIMARY insurance ( original Medicare a& b ) I I was excited to schedule a telemedicine appointment. I'm in California & they do this. Was told by receptionist they will not see me because my " secondary " insurance is California Medicaid. Medicare is my primary insurance! .
