Barley's Canine Recreation Center is excited to offer an indoor swimming pool, active day care, recreation services, therapy and specialty retail to the Wasatch Front. Our pool is chlorine and salt free. We use a copper ion oxidation system for keeping our pool bacteria free. For first time swimmers at our facility, we offer a swim orientation (by appointment) to introduce the dogs to our pool and help them figure out how to use the ramp to get out. RecommendedI take my dog swimming at Barley's. she is in heaven there and truthfully behaves better there than at home. I love the toy basket, turns out I do have a way to test how much my dog will like a toy before I buy it! They start with an assisted swim so you know how your dog will do in the water before letting them go on their own. We love Barley's and all of the staff. We go to Barley's at least 4-5 times a week. The owner's, Heather and Mike, are awesome. They have worked very hard to keep this Center a happy, clean and extraordinary place for your pets. So many kind people working a Barley's. Our dog hopes that never close!
A swimming pool for my dog! How great is that? Nice, friendly, clean!!
Madison (our Labrador Retriever) can't get out of the car fast enough when we arrive, and she is happy and exhausted when she comes home. We always add on an hour of swim, otherwise she'd never forgive us!
Everyone is so nice here! I've taken my corgi there twice for swim lessons (she wasn't a fan of water) and she's doing great now! I've also hosted a Corgi Halloween party there this last fall and it was a blast! The dogs loved being able to play inside or outside!
Teddy is Barleys crazy. He loves his people there, he gives them smoochy eyes. They play with him, swim him, hike him, and love him. They groom him and are concerned for his health and wellbeing. We've taken classes with the trainers, Teddy knows how to be well behaved (knowing and doing are sometimes two different things). Thank you Barleys for treating my boy with love and respect.
