My husband took me here for the Lobster Mac n' cheese aka as "The Main Event" which I absolutely love. This was for my 27th birthday celebration there is nothing like good food, good vibes and a nice cold beer.

Horrible service would never go back bad wait staff after we had drinks and apps for longer than an hour we still didn't get seated at a regular table after they quoted 40 mins.
Happy hour was great. Our pizza was the special of the day and it was awesome. Cocktails were so good we had to have another!
Came here because the bartender in our hotel recommended it when we were out of ideas on where to go for the night.. Barleymash is liiiit. DJ played a great selection of all types of music and it was cool because the dance floor isn't too far from the bar. The bar is pretty big so the wait to get drinks wasn't bad, even though the place was packed. Great night out in Downtown :)
Was great, service was slow. Never got our waters when we asked for them. Never got extra side of ranch for my salad. Waitress barley checked in. She was alittle unattentive. Pretty good experience other than that. Would definitely go again.
The food was unique and delicious. The tiny additions to conventional bar food really made this place stand out in the Gas Lamp District. The service was exceptional and we didn't feel hurried to finish at all

Best Bar in San Diego by far, If your looking for Great food,or Specialty Drinks, or a Huge selection of Draft and bottle Beer's this is your place. They also have Virtually any Sports event on TV that you could ever Imagine. If your going there to watch College or NFL Football, get there early as they fill up fast.
