They had the washing machine I wanted. Zero sales pressure, very knowledgeable, very helpful. Home town business and a lot better than the big box store. Outstanding service.
Barksdale Red’s sold my landlord a new but clearly broken dishwasher and refused to even look at his email to review the problem! Instead of sending a replacement immediately he is treated it like a service call and putting us at the back of the line! Bad call in principle and practice! Then when he finally showed up, he started talking about ordering parts to REPAIR this BRAND NEW DISHWASHER! I wouldn't recommend him to sell you a paperclip!
I made an appointment with this company to look into my freezer that was not getting cold enough. Seemed simple enough. The young lad that came out checked a couple things but flat out couldn't tell my wife what was wrong?? He said it "might" need freon, and may have a leak. OK. But hey, I don't know if it's leaking, cause I don't have a way of testing that anyway? Really? And then to top it off, he says, even if it was a freon leak, I can't re-fill it. I'm not qualified. I have never been acquainted with a more unprofessional repair guy. I am a property manager and treat my clients house with respect- granted these are multi-million dollar homes. First he was asked to either take off his shoes or put on boot covers and as soon I did, he starts swearing non-stop under his breath. Next, when he told me what a temporary fix was to my mini fridge, I asked what a more permanent fix could be he said" why don't you find the f-ing leak".
