Dr. Cottam and the staff at BMI saved my life and did an amazing job giving me life back. After a nearly fatal previous gastric bypass that resulted in some horrific life changing results, ( mini stroke, permanent loss of vision in my left eye, brain damage), Dr Cottam performed a duodenal switch operation that in essence really changed my life for the better..the care and follow up care is above and beyond appreciated, I can’t begin to thank Dr Cottam and BMI for saving me and giving me my life back.. ���
UPDATE: Weight loss has been great but the treatment I have recieved from Dr. Richards and her MA since my surgery causes me to tell you, GO TO IMC FOR YOUR SURGERY!
For months I debated having the surgery...kept telling myself I didn't need it, or I could lose the weight by myself, making excuse after excuse. I meant with Dr. Cottom to talk and he made me feel so welcome and answered every question I had. He explained each procedure and which is best for you and your body. 6 months ago I had the D.S. procedure, 85 lbs down! I'd do it 100 more times if I had to. So far it’s been a wonderful experience with them. The staff seems to be very nice and Dr. Cottam actually listens to you
First visit was good and helped understand more on the procedure.. Can't wait to get this going and on to a new life being thinner..
