Dr. Gordon is the best doctor I’ve ever been able to work with, hands down. He genuinely cares about his patients and their specific needs. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, makes you feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
My large family and I have been Barenburg patients since Dr. Mark Gordon was the only one there, so 25+ years! (Only Kiki has been there longer than we have!) My family and I have been going to see Dr. Gordon and his staff for all most 20 yrs. now. Three of the four of us wear glasses or contacts and we get the best service and deals from the Barenburg Eye Associates. In fact it was because of Dr. Gordon's thoroughness that I live today, He saw that something was not right with my peripheral vision in his testing and sent me to get more testing from the Neuro Ophthalmologist. I’ve been going to see Dr. Gordon for 20 years. He and his staff are professional, flexible, friendly, and accommodating. I’ve watched this office expand over the years, which I honestly was nervous about at first. But even with the growing amount of patients, the amount of time spent with patients hasn’t changed. Getting an appointment is easy and you aren’t rushed in and out of the office. Dr. Gordon values his patients and I recommend him without reservation.
I wrote a comment on their website warning patients of the wait time and lack of communication from the front desk. I received a letter to my home ,an email and when I did not respond to either one they sent a letter to my employer with a copy of my comment and to tell me to remove it. Extremely rude and condescending employee. I was told my insurance was accepted when the appointment was made, and then was told there was an additional fee not covered by my insurance when I went to leave. The doctor than came out to say that he had thought about getting rid of accepting our insurance because they don't pay that much and basically he didn't because he was doing a "service" for the military. Dr. Gordon and the team are awesome. They show care and compassion for each and every patient. It feels so warm and friendly that you almost forget you are a patient. If you are in search of a Doctor that cares and listens to your needs, look no further.
