The meat is so flavorful that it doesn’t need any sauce, but their sauce is good, too. Seriously the best BBQ we’ve had anywhere in the south, and we’ve had BBQ from Texas across to the Georgia coast.
The brisket ranks up there with the very best in the Great State of Texas! Perfect bark, plenty of smoke but not overpowering, and buttery-tender! They also have creative sides like street corn, grits, and Brussels sprouts. The word is definitely getting out and the lines will keep getting longer. Priced like most other quality bbq joints that have long lines and loyal customers.

I just got to experience Bare Barbecue first the first time. It was the best chopped sandwich I have ever eaten! Who else would serve fresh jalapeños? Way above my expectations! And the cheese grits were equally as delicious!
Finally got to try today and it was the BEST brisket and beef rib I’ve ever tried!! I am so happy this place is in Cleburne. I’ll be a frequent customer!!! Also, the owners/staff are so nice and friendly. There’s a ton of shade with music playing. They offer dessert and water, soda and beer! Awesome setup!!!
The brisket is delish and the street corn was my favorite side.
