By far the hottest venue (inside or out) I've ever been to. I was at Xfinity Center 4 days ago (open air) with 93 degree weather, 73% humidity, in the pit and that was cooler than the Maiden show tonight. Was told by one of the staff there were similar complaints last night too. But they blamed it on Bruce Dickinson wanting it that hot. BS.
If your seeing Iron Maiden tomorrow expect all concessions to be shut down before 9:30. The Band came on at 9. Also tickets say doors 7:30. Ghost is on at 7:30 so if you want to catch Ghost be there before 7:30. All concessions were gated and closed arbitrarily at 9:30 tonight. Was denied service rudely even though I was online well before 9:30. When asked for an explanation manager claimed rudely that "the building" had decided without notice to stop concessions
Why isn't the AC on? It's hotter than hell in here! The sound is awful for every show I have been to here as well, probably the worst large venue in the NYC area, avoid if possible.
This venue sucks! Unfortunately I have to come here because the bands I love sometimes book here. I cringe when a band I want to see is playing here. But I still go. After tonight, forget it. It's about 125 degrees in here, and the sound sucks. Put the AC on, and at least sell water after 9:30. Wish there were zero stars.
Worst sound ever. How do I get a refund for the money I wasted tonight on your garbage sound system? I've been to hundreds of concerts, in some awful basement venues. Iron Maiden tonight was by far the worst sound quality I've ever heard. The second worst, also Barclays. And you closed beer concessions at 9:30. I'm done seeing shows here, even though i live down the street. Never again.
Acoustic disaster I might update this review later but i am here at the Barclay Center for Kendrick Lamar tour and D.R.A.M. is on the as the opening act. The acoustics is absolute disaster, i hear the music in three different sound phases - too much reverb and delay that makes the music incomprehensible. My seat is at 223 section and it is not the most expensive section, but for a $160 ticket, it is a complete disaster
Barclays Center has a 3.8 star rating with 1,461 reviews.
Barclays Center is closed now. It will open at 9:00 a.m.
