I've been here a few times and I always enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the service. Went last Saturday, 8/23 and the service was exceptional. Aside from the delicious tapas, the team that night (Jesse, Reed, Diana) made it a great dining experience! We will be back :)
Barcelona Wine Bar is one of my go to places since it opened a year and a half ago. Their seasonal tapas are always my favorite. Went before the dinner rush and sat at a beautiful corner table near the windows and I had a full view of their gorgeous bar and restaurant. Everything was outstanding! We came seeking a table outside because we had our dog with us. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and so attentive - not just to us- but to our dog as well! She was even offered a fresh water bowl and milk bone. Meanwhile the humans indulged on a delicious charcuterie selection, tapas, and a great bottle of Spanish wine. We’ve been in Pittsburgh only a short while, but this dining expertise will be hard to top.
Have always had a great experience at Barcelona. A wonderful variety of drink, food flavors and shareable plates. The staff is outstanding, going above and beyond from making recommendations to accommodating unique service requests. Highly recommend!!
I absolutely love this restaurant! It never disappoints. My husband and I enjoy exploring new places, but since the Barcelona Wine Bar opened, it has become one of our favorite spots. It's likely one of the best restaurants in the area. The cocktails are some of the best in the city, and I appreciate the tapas menu, which allows you to try several dishes without overindulging. I highly recommend it for both brunch and dinner.
