This large and spacious white brick-walled restaurant is located in the meatpacking district of New York. With garage-style doors, cafe chairs, and an open kitchen, it has a very minimalist look but is comfortable nonetheless. Barbuto offers outdoor seating during Spring, so you can enjoy the open air while you munch away. The menu, which features regular Italian fare like pastas, antipasti and the like, changes everyday. Chef Jonathan Waxman is very particular about using the freshest of ingredients available.

I went for dinner last night and it was great! Had the pork loin with polenta and apples, it was so delicious! The crostata dessert...yum! And our waiter, Carlos, was the best!!!
I absolutely loved the food, service, and overall experience. The food kept coming and coming...so delicious!!! I want some now! I also wouldnt mind having the butcher block table by the kitchen that seats 10-12 people in my dinning room . They need to let me know when they are changing decor I'll definitely snag it!!
