I placed a deposit for a rental that I wasn't able to see due to the renter still living in the townhouse. When I was able to see the townhouse, I was very disappointed. I told them that the property needed painting. I was told they were only willing to paint one wall and 1/2 of another wall. That is ridiculous. The have still not refunded me my $600 deposit. I have never seen a business operate this way. Do not rent from Barber Properties without seeing the property first.
They took a $*** deposit from me and didn’t provide a livable apt. Then when I said I’d like to move on, they refused to refund my money. (Even though the terms of the transaction were null and void)
This company has HORRIBLE customer service skills. I work for a storage company and I would NEVER treat my customers the way they treated me. So you might ask “Why don’t you use your own storage company?” Because they are the only storage company in Talladega but they are very rude.
my mother's house in pcb Florida is still damaged from Hurricane Michael. Barber Prop was supposed to send someone to her rental house today. No call No show. Not reliable at all.

We had our stuff stolen ! Manager wouldn’t talk with us ! The guy who they had to cut the lock for us looks like the guy who was arrested in st Clair for breaking in other storages! They lied about cameras & footage of guy who was supposedly in custody for stealing !
