I went to David's bridal for my dress and after taking the recommendation of the employee to order a size smaller than the one I tried on, I got my dress and it was way too small for my chest. With only a week and a half until my event, I found Barbara, and she immediately responded and got me in same day. I had my dress back a few days later and still have time before the reception! the dress fits perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Definitely go with Barbara!!
Barbara was AMAZING! She took my ball gown that was a size too small and put a corset back in, which blended perfectly! She hemmed and bustle my dress as well. Her bustles are beautiful and are way better than the traditional bustle. She let me keep my dress there from the time I bought the dress to the wedding day so my husband wouldn't sneak a peek at it. I walked into the shop frazzled! I had been dropped like a hot potato from my first seamstress and told to just chop off the lace detail by another - I was a mess. Barbara quickly settled all those doubts and emotions. She quickly explained why things were fitting funky and how she was going to fix them. She was appalled that someone had suggested that I cute the lace off and said not a problem. It was a pleasure and a joy to work with Barbara both with my wedding dress and my wedding parties dresses. Thank you!
