We had been wanting to try BOTB for a while and finally went last Saturday. My husband wanted one of the specials (duck with blueberry sauce) and unfortunately they had run out. What we did order was very good. Barbara came out to make sure everything was good - I appreciate her doing that! The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is charming. We will be back.
First dinner we had there. It was excellent. Had the pork with black beans. Wife had Mahi Mahi special and just loved it. Steak was also served at our table and looked excellent. I'm going to try that next time. Will be back.
Tonight was my first time dining here and I was fairly impressed with the entirety of my dining experience. A lot of times when small businesses/restaurants first go into business, they can be a bit awkward and cold. But, BOTB has surpassed that stage with flying colors! The staff was friendly, accommodating, and I could tell that they actually WANTED to be there and LIKED working directly with people. The crab soup is amazing!! The meatloaf was perfection!! Definitely worth the drive!!
I hope this place thrives! Best burger I have had in years! Beautiful view! I hope as the season kicks off they are able to maintain the quality, service and friendliness.
