RecommendedGreat food at a very reasonable price, also loved the throw back in time atmosphere, very hard to replicate that. very sorry I didn't get to savory one last time, as I am sure others would have liked to as well.
Sadly, this restaurant closed it's doors at the end of 2017. It was open for over a hundred years in several locations. We used this venue for club meetings over the years. It will be missed. I wish the owners well.
I have so many happy memories of this restaurant and the staff there-Miss Nancy was the best. I'm sorry to hear it closed.

To the customers of Barbara fritchie you will be missed the wait staff
To be honest, it's a shadow of what it once was. The menu selections sounded appetizing but if they are anything like the food I ordered and recieved then they might need to evaluate the kitchen staff. My food was dry and bland. The decor needs to be reverted back to the historical context of what the eatery is about, the portraits of Hollywood figures CLASH with that premise. It needs to go back to the retro look it hints upon. And overall, some good old-fashioned maintenance wouldn't hurt.
