For a Mexican restaurant we found the food the be on the bland side. Salsa tasted like it should have had bread sticks served with it instead of chips. My food lacked salt and any hint of spice. Did notice a lot of the people in there eating were on the older side so sure it appeals to their palates more than mine.
This place had more authentic Mexican style food than most places I've been around here. Friendy servers too.
I went because they offered brisket options. Got the brisket tacos . The meat was not tender and chuy to eat . Sides was bland no flavor . The only thing I liked was the corn cake. They charged me 2.00 for a tee tiny scoop of sour cream . Way over priced. 90cents for onions . I Would NOT recommend this place . It is so hard to find a tex mex place with great flavors in Lafayette area. So disappointing.
