This was our first time kayaking so I was a little nervous. We were well taken care of. No worries about getting in the kayak as they start you in a docked position on land and you just pull yourself forward into the water. We did a 7-8 mile trip in calmer but flowing water which was perfect. It took about 3 1/2 hours. The kayaks are sit on top type and very stable! We saw an eagle grab a fish mid flight in the river, many deer, otter, and turtles. I highly recommend this company as they are professional and very nice!
Excellent canoeing on the Baraboo river. My husband and I were in Wisconsin at the end of June with my sister in law and her husband. It was a challenge dodging the downed trees but they cleared enough to zig zag through and it was a blast. Beautiful scenery! Customer service was great!
Love the rapids. Paddle hard thru them to not get stuck on a rock. Avoid the largest waves, those are rocks, not waves. You will get soaked. Hold onto belongings tight or put in waterproof floatable container if you or your items fall in. Enjoy. Xoxo
It was an awesome time, the service was great, the kayaks were in great condition and the people running it were friendly. The price wasn't excessive. Would definitely recommend going thru them. Would go again if we had more time on this vacation.

Our family went on the 3 hour trip with the rapids weekend after July 4th. We had a great time and I recommend this adventure with adult children. We always struggle to find activities with our kids and this was well worth it. We plan to do another trip this summer before our daughter heads back to college, and we will be using this rental place once again.
We spent Fathers Day afternoon on the Baraboo River, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The canoes and equipment were immaculate, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the scenery was beautiful! We will definitely be back:)
