Our family has kayaked here twice this summer and the experience has been perfect. The online reservation process is simple and quick and the safety measures are thorough. The staff is friendly and helpful and the boats were in excellent condition. Paddling down the river was lovely and peaceful. Our first trip was shorter with very manageable rapids and ended at a pretty park. The second trip was longer and was all rural/natural and we saw otters and many birds. I highly recommend Baraboo River Canoe and Kayak!

We took our daughter for a 2pm Kayak trip, the Trip #1 from Geiss Park to West Baraboo for her birthday. The rental folks are super awesome and friendly, and informative! The kayaks were comfy and great, the river section (Trip #1 on their website) was just as they described. This was my first time in a kayak, same for my other half, and my daughter's 3rd time - for noobies, we felt very comfortable once they got us set up and going. Can't wait to book another rental!!
It was a lot of fun in the great outdoors kayaking down Baraboo river with my mom. We went down the level one rapids and got to see a lot of neat scenery along the way. The bus driver and Karen were very friendly and gave us a lot of good information. I suggest to take this great adventure it was a blast. #cleanbathroom #greatadventure

We rented 9/21/19. Great service great river. Have used many canoe rental companies and these folks are the best. They Helped our friends with their shuttle of their boats and we’re super nice and friendly. The downtown Baraboo paddle is super fun!!! Highly recommend!

Had a great trip on the baraboo river today, also all of their equipment is very well taken care of. Their life jackets smell great! Definitely should be on your to do list.
