I love this place, nice quiet atmospher. Perfect setting for a first date or dinner with friends. Bar Louie has become a traditional fair for my group. Just bring plenty of money!
Always loved Bar Louie, but last night was exceptional. Had Super Bowl party in the party room. This is the place to have a party. Food was delicious and our glasses were never empty. Thanks Wesley and all the staff at Bar Louie.

Not impressed.... Called ahead to make sure that Veterans were welcome to come for Veterans Day meal, confirmed on phone, denied in person with no offer of explanation except "they probably told us after you called". Keep your staff informed and put somebody with some manners at the damn door.
First time at this one but it was awesome, service was great and the staff was friendly. Could not have asked for a better time. Came back for a second visit and was not disappointed. Everyone was very friendly and the service was excellent. If you get the chance sit at the bar and visit with Stacy and Jenny.
Food was mediocre, service was poor. We asked what was on the loaded tater tots & the waitress said she didn't know, it's somewhere in the menu. I asked if there was broccoli in the Mac & cheese & she didn't know. Our appetizer "cone" was half filled with lettuce. Calamari & lettuce do not go together. We had never been to Bar Louie & probably won't go back.

I use to love the place, but after new management, I feel the place has gone down hill and not near as professional of a restaurant. I also do not think 2 beers, an appetizer and a meal should cost 42 dollars.
The GM Wesley is very nice and down to earth. I had a problem and he fixed it. Kyle Ruder was my server and hes the best one ive had here. This is my weekly hang out spot. Ive never had a problem with Bar Louie until tonight but that was quickly fixed and turned my night around. Number 1 bar in Evansville. Highly recommended!
I absolutely love this place! The staff is really friendly. The food is amazing. The drink specials and beer selection are excellent. This is one of my favorite places to eat and drink in Evansville. Its not just a night spot, its great for lunch too or happy hour!
