LOVE the old Barkeeper. I just learned the owners at Vinovore are taking this place over. I hope they let the existing employees stay. I tried going into Vinavore twice over the years and the workers completely ignored me even when I was the only person in the shop. At Barkeeper? These guys are awesome. They're great shopkeepers and wonderful neighbors. Such a fantastic selection of booze and bar tools/glass sets and you can always get good recommendations to try something new. This isn’t the kind of place you’d come to for bourbon. The staff show little interest even when customers walk in, and they don’t really engage or ask if you need help. Especially for bourbon whiskey, there’s nothing here worth picking up.
