Wonderful place to get brunch
Bar Carlo is one of those places that just gets the neighborhood spot vibe right. Good drinks, great food, a cute space, and a staff that makes you want to come back. The bartenders are always kind, attentive, and somehow manage to keep everything moving even when we’re happily posted up for a while. This place is such a gem. Their tamarind margarita is absolutely one of Portlands best cocktails. Come for brunch, my favorite is the elote hash, or come for golden hour for the best post-work snacks in town.
We had our wedding reception here, and boy oh boy did we have a great time. The bartenders, servers, cooks, etc. were all spectacular. The setup was a breeze because the venue is already so gorgeous, we really didn't feel the need to add anything! From the moment we reached out for a quote to the very last email sent, we were treated so kindly and respectfully.
