The doctor himself is absolutely great, but unfortunately he has hired a team of incompetent and impossible employees and that is completely on him. In no particular order: - You can have an appointment but they absolutely will NOT honor it. They don't even give you an estimate of how much "behind" they are running because that is how they operate; not until you've run out of patience and insist on getting an idea of how long it is going to take will they say "we are running behind, but can't tell you how much". Dr. Baquerizo is an excellent endocrinologist and a remarkable human being. Whenever you make an appointment you are warned that the visit will take time, 2 hour at least. But it is worth the wait. Dr. Baquerizo gives patient the time he or she deserves in order to arrive to the right diagnosis and method to solve the medical issue. He has treated my wife as family and for me he is like a Zen doctor who always listen and arrives patiently to the solution. Please don’t waste your time visiting this doctor—literally. My appointment was scheduled for 12:45 PM, and I ended up leaving at 3:00 PM because I still had not been seen. When I asked the staff when the doctor would be able to see me, I was told, “We’re not sure, but he likes to take his time with patients.” Waiting more than two hours past my scheduled appointment time with no estimated wait time is unacceptable and extremely disrespectful of patients’ time. I am not a patient, but I called the office to schedule an appointment. When I selected the option to schedule, I was directed to leave a message instead of speaking with someone. A phone is a lifeline for any business, and the way calls are handled sends a message about how much you value potential patients and customers.
