Amazing experience for my birth. I couldn’t have done it without the support of the nurses. Special shout out to Theresa who was by my side every step of the way and the anesthesiologist who was so patient and kind with me.
As I sit here feeding my new baby at 1am, I am replaying his birth in mind and I just have to say the L&D nurses at Baptist South are phenomenal. I met and bonded with 3 nurses who were there with me. Holding my hand, crying with me, and being some of the most amazingly supportive people I’ve ever known. Shout out to Amanda, Chelsea and Lynn. These 3 compassionate souls will always be close to my heart. I would recommend this hospital over and over again because of them.
I had an amazing experience at Baptist Medical Center South during my labor and delivery. My nurse, Michaela W., RN, was incredibly attentive and caught early signs of hemorrhaging, acting quickly and confidently to keep me safe. Because of her awareness and care, a serious situation was handled immediately. Dr. Lim was equally wonderful. calm, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Gave birth to my twins here recently and the nurses and doctors were so kind and supportive throughout the entire process. I felt very safe going having my C-section done here.
This is my third pregnancy, and unfortunately this has been the worst experience I’ve had with medical care. Each time I went to the ER/L&D, my concerns were dismissed by the doctors. I did not feel listened to or taken seriously. The nurses were often unapproachable and made me feel as though I was wasting their time simply by asking questions or seeking clarification.
