My husband came in by ambulance after suffering a massive stroke and has had to stay at the hospital for over two weeks. The care he received - from the paramedics, the ER doctors, the floor doctors, nurses, technicians, and caseworkers has been exceptional. He had to have two clots removed from his carotid artery and in his head. The stint put in his artery collapsed. Dr. Kumar saved his life. The doctors and nurses kept us informed throughout it all. My dad was transported here after having a stroke. Upon arriving we where told he was going to have emergency surgery that its Time sensitive 4 hours later we where still in the emergency and then told he was being sent to icu and from there the doctor would let us know what had to be done. It’s almost 7am the next morning and we have yet to see a doctor. Says there # 1 for treating stroke patients but yet my dad is still laying in icu a day later and still hasn’t seen a doctor. Please make this make sense.
Stayed with my wife and brother in law after he broke his leg, absolute worst service I've seen when it comes to treating their patients. He was in pain for hours and they wouldn't give him anything for it. Most of the staff were rude and ignored our requests to help him, and would repeatedly bump into his fresh-out-of-surgery leg and just say "oops" when he'd wail in pain. The lack of compassion was appalling to say the least. Stay as far away from this hospital as possible, they won't care about you at all.
They would rather let patients die than run the follow the CDC guidelines and run the necessary tests to save a life.
