My experience with Baptism hospital was Great. The staff were very helpful in my case.
As someone that has mental health issues, to treat them as they are a caged wild animal is not best for all people with the same issues. It can make the situation worse with someone that is experiencing a psychotic break without homicidal or suicidal tendencies. I know I used to be a patient care technician at this hospital many many years ago and I know what one on one is and I know that you have to make your staff and your patience safe but one of my one on ones staff members I could see judgment in her eyes. My experience in the ER was far better than I anticipated, with speedy attention to me and my injury. Madelyn, the nurse who cared for me, was exceptional.
I feel as if I went into the hospital with a whole allergic reaction once past getting my information it took entirely to long for anything to be done as far as medication…if there was a reason they couldn’t give me something it should’ve been communicated verses leaving me in the room itching and all that I explained to them was going on..I finally fell asleep woke up to them coming to start an iv and draw blood which took a min because the nurse couldn’t get the needle in.. but after my medication started everything was of... read more
