I will start this by saying the staff were all wonderful, caring, and went above and beyond for my father. The issue I have is with the case manager. My father needed to enter hospice care, she is meant to guide me through this process. Instead she treated me like the biggest idiot on the planet. Laughed at my questions, said she would not call anyone on my behalf to get equipment in our home, and told me multiple times I was wrong and needed to do better research on how hospice works… is this not her job? Baptist South is the best of all the Baptist facilities. The medical staff are professional and personable. As a patient you are treated with respect and given the best care possible. Patience are prioritized by medical need, but even then you are not lost in the mix.
