Had to go here because I thought I might need emergency services. Rang the doorbell twice (rings forever) and no answer. I could barely breathe and no one answered nor let me in. Went back down to registration who seemed to not care at all and barely made eye contact with me. Lady called up to have someone come down in a wheelchair because I was having trouble breathing and 20 minutes passed and no one came! She even called again and was told someone was on the way. Amazing experience. First time mom, had to have c section. Right from the beginning everyone was kind and patient, answered all my questions and went above and beyond with support. Beyond pleased. They made such a stressful situation so much better. They treated my newborn with such love and compassion. And tried everything they could to ensure I was doing ok and getting enough rest to heal faster. Thank you guys!! Ps hospital food was actually really good! Very impressed!

I chose Baptist Hospital because I believed it would be a safe, supportive place to bring my child into the world. Instead, my birth experience there was one of the most disappointing and upsetting experiences of my life. From the start, I felt completely neglected. While some of the nurses were personally kind, the overall care felt rushed and disorganized. My labor was handled in a way that made me feel like just another number being pushed through the system.
