great doctors and nurses, but the discharge girl was awful I had my baby here. The nurse that took care of me was great so was doctor, but when it was time to be discharged,that was bad...the girl just dropped me off in a wheelchair, she did not wait for my sister to pull up her vehicle. She just left me there! I was in so much pain too. Then another nurse (who was nice) came out really upset with the other girl who dropped me off, because apparently the nurses had to give me the discharge paper! Baptist Hospital ER visit My husband has liver cancer, and although this is not our usual hospital, it is the one his doctor recommended, so one night when he was hurting very bad, I took him there. The staff out front informed me it would be a 3 hour wait and it was. They were very rude! Once we got in the back, the nurses and doctor were very good and kind to us. They treated us with respect and made him feel much better. But the checkin experience was gruesome!!
I wouldn't recommend their ER. I definitely would not ever want to go to the emergency room at this hospital again! I had some serious symptoms(which I found out from my doctor was a small stroke) and they had me wait for quite a while and then they told me that they didn't want to let me see a doctor and they just told me to leave and to go see my doctor.I was not treated very nice at all.Evidently,they didn't take me seriously and didn't think I was important enough to see a doctor.
