1105pm: As someone that works in healthcare, I am fully aware of the demands on healthcare systems. However, what I experienced in the ER with my 91 year old grandfather was absolutely ridiculous. To come into an ER at 3pm (sent by their own urgent care) and have it be 11pm and still not have results on basic labs and 2 CT scans is absurd. Waiting one hour in a stretcher holding area for a CT scan to then wait more than a hour for a radiologist to result that CT scan on an ER patient is unacceptable. I when there and took my baby there they release him. Then I brought him back he had been admit. This hospital not good for babies

Took my daughter in for what I believed was an ear infection. Wanted to have her checked. Waited 45 mins in an empty waiting room. Once we were taken back the Dr spent a minute with us, checked her ear and prescribed antibiotics. The front desk girl was not able to verify my insurance at the time of checkin because “the system was down.” Told me not to worry they would mail me a bill. Received a bill for $474 yesterday.
