My father had brain surgery on Friday. after being discharged he had to be admitted again. The nursing staff neglected to discover that he was unable to feed himself, go to the restroom, or even wash his hands to eat. He's unable to use utensils and eats with his hands. the neglect in care and personal hygiene was unacceptable. my mother and I have had to be there to act as an advocate in order to get the help he needed for basic needs. RecommendedThe Nurses and Doctors at Baptist are top-notch. I have been treated in Several Hospitals over thelast 15 -20 years, and i have NEVER been happier, or felt as comfortable in ANY institution.
you have no on-call cardiac dr. How are you a cardiac hospital? my daughter has been here since 10pm yesterday, as of 9:35am today, we are still in the er. she had 2 pacemakers put in. Mind you she is only 23yo,she is having episodes where her heart is skipping many beats, machine dings and goes crazy.. no one comes to check! we pushed the nurse call button at 823am, the nurse shows up at 930am asking what did we need, nothing now!! she was moved from room 21 to room 44. im guessing this is where you send patients to die, ca... read more
I’ve always received excellent care at Baptist!! It is my go to hospital in Jax. I only go to Baptist doctors.
Horrible experience. I hate Baptist Health system and would never recommend anyone be treated here. You have to fight for your care and the doctors treat you like you’re just a number. My surgical experience with Dr. Samiian and the hospital stay have been awful. She neglected to come see me after surgery so I have no idea what went on during my almost 5 hour surgery and the nurses response to that was “you’ll see her at post - op”. Just had surgery there yesterday and outside of a small delay in surgery (things out of the doctor’s control) it was a much better then expected experience. From check in to check out (don’t remember a whole lot 😂) every single staff member was kind and bent over backwards to help me and explained everything to my wife and I as to what we can expect. I just want to say thank you for the Emergency Staff how the Process so Quick,from check in to wher we really takeng care and see the Doctor, wher so Amazed- ,not its too early but Its How Doctor Rawan, Nurse Team serve us so quick , You made our Fear ,worrys,Anxiousness ,Calm even we dont know whats the outcome -but such Care and Compassion Availability us Quick - people who come to ER- needed -not otherFacility feel so sad wher waiting at least 3 hrs no body coem to us even to see sorry were too busy -but No One -for total... read more
