This review concerns Baptist Health Medical Group Behavioral Health’s after-hours system and its oversight of the answering service it selected. It is not a criticism of my husband’s individual provider or his routine care. My husband, an established behavioral-health patient, called the after-hours line and said, “I’m not doing okay,” while asking whether his appointment could be moved up. I’m sitting in the waiting room area and one of the people behind the counter checking people out is sneezing and coughing and she is not wearing a mask. They check to see if we have multiple symptoms before we can see a doctor maybe they should check the staff.
