I am submitting this statement regarding my experience at Springhill Baptist Emergency Department during a pregnancy-related emergency. I arrived at approximately 11:30 a.m. due to excessive bleeding and cramping in early pregnancy and was quickly taken for blood work and a urine sample. Not much better than you UAMS. Apparently no one takes back problems seriously and they treat you like you're seeking drugs instead of giving me something for my pain that they gave me blood pressure medicine because my blood pressure was up outrageous because of my pain so they gave me blood pressure medicine that made me very sick I threw up twice from it. The discharge lounge policy is, without a doubt, the most inefficient, time consuming, redundant silliness I’ve ever experienced.
Our experience here was excellent. All the nurses and doctors were extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Bacon and Dr. Deloach were so sweet and all the nurses and front desk and triage workers were amazing as well.
