RecommendedI had to take my son to ER today. We chose Baptist Health Floyd because it is so close to his apartment. I live an hour away, I called hospital on my way to pick up my son to verify they are in my network. The person that took my call was very helpful and knowledgeable of what I needed to know. She was also sincere. We didn’t really know what to expect once we arrived because we are not from here and we are not familiar with this facility. The problem with Hardin Memorial Hospital is it is understaffed. Got to hospital with my mother at 5 PM and she got to her room at 1 AM. The ER was not crowded.They only had one person for transport for entire hospital. From standing in the doorway in my mother's ER room, watching her Doctor run from room to room, it appeared they only had one Doctor. I have been through this same rodeo with my mother at Norton and we had my mother settled in her room and on our way home in 51/2 hours. I must say that Hardin does have great ... read more
Dr. Simon has was my pediatrician from birth until I was an adult (and .ost all.of my cousins) and now he takes care of my kiddos. He is absolutely the best there is and I'm so grateful for everything he does for my family.
Recommendedi have been on hold for medical records for an hour now and this is the first time out of the 3 weeks I've been trying to call cause ill get put on hold then automatically disconnected. last time i was there I was there for blood work the nurse had to stick me 7 times before I had to ask for another nurse who got it in the first time so once i get my medical records released I'm done going here.
