Ambiance was ok. Food was ordinary. Nothing great. Flavor and taste were both lacking. Hard to achieve such blandness in Chinese food, yet it was so. Perhaps it caters to more American palate than authentic Asian.

I developed nut allergies in my 40’s and going out to eat became scary. I have eaten at Baoding three times in six months and every single time, they write down my allergies and make sure whoever prepares my food knows which nuts to stay away from. It is wonderful to go out to eat and know my epipen can stay in my purse because a restaurant is conscientious. The food is always terrific and the service is as well. Thank you!
Loved the ambience in this restaurant. Also, excellent service, excellent food. I had the pineapple fish and husband had general tso chicken. Highly recommend (and I'm very selective about food).
