I had a very disappointing experience when bringing my 19-month-old in for a scheduled procedure. We carefully followed the pre-surgery instructions not to allow any food or drink after 4:30 a.m. On the way to the center, our toddler found and ate a small cracker. When we arrived for check-in at 11:00 a.m., we immediately informed the staff. The nurse noted this in the chart and proceeded with the full check-in process. We then waited for about two hours. Our daughters both had surgery this morning. The facility was nice. All of the staff members we interacted with were very friendly, informative, and kind. The nurses, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Altman were all great!
