Customers beware. I have never been so disappointed in an owner of a company in my 77 year life. After pulling off my roof they found termite damage, Mike reviewed and gave me another bid that seemed very high. I had no choice but to continue, so I kept tract of the extra hours his men put in the replacement the wood and the amount of wood that was used. He charged me double the actual labor and material. Predatory company preying on older folks. They ripped my parents off. Don’t use them and buyer beware, they did my parents the old “foot in the door” selling them 2x what they asked for.
We just had our roofs replaced. Prior to that, I requested quotes from 3 East Bay area roofing companies. Banner was the same as one of the other quotes at first glance. The first thing that impressed me was the fact that they said no, I did not need new gutters. That alone saved me 9k. Secondly, while the other quotes were charging extra for chimney flashings, and vent flashings, Banner roofing did not charge me for any of them.
