Very much glad this hospital is shutting down. I made it very clear to this hospital I have responsibility’s and I would like to be gone by a certain time if not treated. And they just have me sitting in the room like a dumbass. Like I really am about to leave on my own. What are they gonna do go to my house. They can do what they like at this point. Night shift is a total shot show though for sure.
I fell I went to Mckee in pain. The ER doc took an x-ray says it's negative and sent me home. I asked for an MRI I'm told they can't order MRI's. Retired from a hospital I don't understand that. I contacted my surgeon he ordered a stat MRI. That didn't happen until 4 days later. What the hell that's a stat MRI. Well when I finally had it done my leg was found with multiple issues. Never again. I'm not surprised at the ER is shutting down. It was subpar as far as I'm concerned with the ER doctor who took care of me
Went to the ER and was accused of lying by the doctor (no joke). I even heard staff laughing about my situation — they said my room # so I know it was about me. I was told I was fine. I then Went to UCHealth hospital, and turns out I wasn’t lying — I actually had a bad gallbladder. I will forever never recommend this hospital.
It has been 5 months since my surgery at McKee Medical Center, and I am still dealing with unresolved billing errors despite having a valid prior authorization. I'm owed a refund on the deposit yet month after month I am told to call back in 30 days. Each call involves 20+ minutes on hold or awaiting a call back, multiple transfers, and no lasting resolution. My stay here at the senior behavioral unit has been amazing to say the least. Very polite nurses and concerned doctors. It has given me hope and help, the DBT instructors are also above and beyond. Thank you for making my stay, calm, comfortable and memorable.
