I had every right to question Dr. Haider’s qualifications to perform a rarer back surgery on me. He had no real reviews online giving me confidence in him handling a more complicated case. He acted confident he could perform the surgery but the office staff would not try to get me in touch with any patient(with the patient’s approval) who had received back surgery from him. Both Dr Bernstein and Abby, his PA, are incredibly attentive (good listeners), thorough (in both Sharon & explaining the diagnosis and possible treatment options). Post surgery follow ups were caring & informative, done in a timely basis. Best of all, the results were what was hoped for...HIGHLY recommended!
I was T-boned 5+ years ago and it let to spinal injuries that had been partially taken care of 5 years ago. Problem was balance issues and neuropathy in both legs. I have fallen many time during this time, which led to L3 being fractured. Dr. Bernstein was the only Doctor who properly diagnosed the issue stemming from spinal injury to my neck. I will be thankful for Dr. Bernstein for helping me recover the quality of life which I have missed.

Very frustrating process. I received a message from the neurosurgery department informing me of an upcoming appointment and the fact that I needed an MRI prior to the appointment. However, they failed to put in the order, so my MRI could not be scheduled. After staying on hold for over 20 minutes (their animated response said wait time was 2-4 minutes) I finally hung up. 2 weeks later I received another call, again informing me that I needed to schedule an MRI before my appointment.
