I was on the road and deposited a $450 check at the ATM of this branch. They put a 9 days hold on it. Aren't small check suppose to have a hold of only 4 days? I would not use the ATM at this branch ever again. Keep doing things like this and you might lose me as customer as well. Changing my review. Nothing against the branch the bank policy does not make sense. No other bank puts a 10 day hold on a small check.
Every single time I come in, I have to wait 10-15 minutes just to get cash out. No one at the counter most of the time
BMO is a terrible bank. Rather put your money in drain.
Constantly being hounded by "Mary" who leaves a message on my answering machine that she's from my bank to call her back. Without being precise about what it's about. People have enough to worry about without unclear messages from their bank to call them back. I asked her not to do so 2 years ago, and was upset when I did so. Trust the reviews. Horrible experience. Incompetent Tellers, especially the guy that works the middle booth. I simply came to the branch on Monday to get a physical replacement card as online customer service said I could and he said he couldn’t do that because my account was opened online vs in branch, which shouldn’t matter? I recently moved to the area and use BMO for FAFSA refunds so I can pay for books, supplies and rent, so he told me changing my address would be the only way to get a replacement card.
