Do not put your financial money and trust into BMO banks. I have been a customer for 25 years through three bank mergers and have no trust in them. They hold your money, fee you to death and do not honor mobile deposits. They do not care about you as a customer just as a bank account number. Find a small bank to put your money into not BMO Banks.
I opened an account with BMO and everything went very smoothly. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly when I came in and the banker that helped me was super knowledgeable. She also helped me get the BMO app set up too so I can easily check on my account.
I have had an extremely frustrating and damaging experience with BMO Harris Bank. Every single time I deposited money into my account, there was always an issue. My funds were repeatedly placed on hold, and I was told I had to wait up to 14 additional business days, on top of the normal processing time for my paycheck. This happened consistently.
