Midwest one recently acquired the Bank of Denver, which I have been banking with for over 10 years. I had 3 different accounts with them. I noticed after they were acquired and switched over to Midwest One Bank that I continued to receive fees that I did not receive when it was the Bank of Denver. The final straw for me was that I was receiving a fee for returned mail statements for 1 of my 3 accounts, even though I receive my statements electronically. Midwestone branch, helpful staff, more convenient location/regular hours than downtown option
This bank has gone downhill considerably since MidwestOne acquired it. Nothing works. I’ve wasted hours trying to do simple transactions that took seconds before. Employees don’t care. I loved Bank of Denver, very disappointed they sold to a company who doesn’t have it together. Closing my account next week.
Terrible customer service is unheard of with these people incompetent in my opinion
