RecommendedMaverick John was born on 10/11/2020 delivered by Raylene. He is my 3rd baby and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I love all the staff at Bangor Ob/Gyn and I would hands down recommend it to anyone. Here is a picture of Maverick when he was first born and a picture of him now with his two big sisters.
I love this doctor and staff. Dr. Paul Smith is the only doctor that has said, "Let's work on this together". He has a wonderful bed side manner and for the first time in a very long time, I did not feel alone in dealing with my medical problems. Wonderful and caring! Highly recommended!!!
Doctor's are nice but office staff not so much. Also if you receive a c-section they will NOT let you have a natural birth through their office on your next pregnancy because doctors have to "wait around." I had planned to stay at one place but will have to move on.
Dr. Smith delivered our son in June of 2014 and Raylene delivered our daughter this June 2020. These doctors were amazing throughout both my pregnancies and I highly recommend them to anyone!!
The staff from the front of the house to the practitioners are 1st rate. We traveled over 100 miles for what our family would call the best prenatal care for mom and baby back in October of 2019. And we will travel there again when the time comes to add another little one. Dr. Smith was nothing but the absolute best helping deliver our baby Reed. If you are looking to feel in control, well educated from beginning to end and treated like family during your pregnancy Bangor OB/GYN is the place to be!
I’m not one to typically do reviews but I can’t say enough good things about Bangor OBGYN! Dr. Smith and his staff from reception to his nursing staff were the absolute best. I never felt rushed and was always greeted with kindness. I switched to this office for my second pregnancy. I was so appreciative of how Dr. Smith took the time to ask me how my first birth experience went (it was less than ideal). Dr.Buchanan happened to be there for my first (very nerve wracking) appointment last September to delivering my baby boy April 10. She calmed every anxiety and we couldn’t thank her enough. Along with Dr.Buchanan, we want to thank Dr.Smith (rocking those crocks😁)and Raylene, Jaime and Gina, and every other staff we interacted with. I can’t brag everyone up enough. I highly recommend Bangor Ob/Gyn I went to them for my last two pregnancies! Raylene delivered my daughter on 10/08/18 and Dr. Smith delivered my son 06/02/20!!! I can’t even imagine going anywhere else. I was told as a teenager there was a good chance I’d never be able to have children, which for someone who has always dreamed of being a mom was quite devastating. Luckily I was referred to Bangor obgyn and Dr Smith and Dr Biz performed a surgery that greatly increased my chances. They, as well as Dr Buchanan and Raylene, all stuck by me through thick and thin until my beautiful baby girl was finally conceived.
