I’m so glad I chose to go through Bangor OB/GYN, although it wasn’t until I was 34 weeks along. The staff was great, everyone had such a great sense of humor which was extremely important to me because this was my first pregnancy and I was so petrified of labor and delivery. Dr. Biz delivered Bentley on December 16th after being induced and 19 hours of labor. It was such a great experience and it couldn’t have gone any better. I had a wonderful experience at this office. The staff was very friendly and often knew you by name. Dr. Biz delivered my son in September and it was via c section and he made me feel comfortable and safe, this help make my birth experience so amazing and enjoyable! I would highly recommend them! Also the billing department was very helpful when we had to switch insurances half way through my pregnancy! This office treats you as a person not just another client!
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr Smith/Dr Biz/Raylene at Bangor OB/GYN. I went through pregnancy loss and Dr Smith was right by my side each time. He held my hand, and assured me that someday I would be a Mother to a healthy child. About a year after my first loss, He delivered my perfect healthy son in March of 2015. My first experience with Bangor Ob/Gyn was back in 2009. I developed preeclampsia and was sent by Dr. Paul Smith from my 36 week checkup to deliver. Once ready it was discovered my baby son had knotted his cord and was not getting any oxygen. After an emergency c section by Dr. Smith and 9 minutes with no heartbeat my son was resuscitated. He's now a happy, healthy 7 year old. Dr. Smith literally saved his life, and possibly mine too. Dr. Biz (love him) delivered my baby boy on July 10th via a c section. I was incredibly anxious about the procedure, but, Dr. Biz was absolutely wonderful during the surgery, he did an incredible job. I just wish I could have seen him post surgery to express my gratitude! Also, the care I received before I gave birth was on point. I was treated as a priority and was made to feel comfortable. The doctors here are top notch, love them. Highly recommend!

You really can't ask for better OB/GYN care in the Bangor area, Dr.Smith is amazing, so caring, so thorough and has a lifetime of experience delivering babies. You can tell he is really committed to and passionate about his job. I've only just met Dr. Nabizadeh but was throughly impressed as well and have heard nothing but good things from patients and nurses who work with him.
