The pilgrimage that led to the creation of Bangkok 96 Restaurant started when Genevieve was a young child living in Laos. She traveled frequently to neighboring Thailand with her family, and grew to love the flavors and spices of that country. When Laos was taken over by the Communists, her family became refugees in Thailand for two years and fled again, this time to Paris. Growing up in the

Excellent food, service, and quality...Wish I lived closer...I live near Ann Arbor!!
As usual,the place was packed.But that is without telling, service remains Topnotch and the food is always to die for. Soup (hot and sour) is incredibly delicious & portions are generous. A PLACE to enjoy an authentic Thai food.
I decided to give this place another try after years of not going because it was horrible then and the food is still terrible. The pad Thai had an awful smell we couldn’t eat it. The vegetable pad Thai had hardly any veggies in it, and the spring rolls tasted like cardboard. I’m not sure how this place still does well. There are many more thai food options now. I won’t be giving them anymore tries.
I just loved the food.! Will definitely be back when we visit Detroit again.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Food was not great. Only went cuz Lue Thai was closed until Tuesday.
