Found this place by accident when looking for another breakfast spot nearby. All I can say is it was awesome (and I almost never say that about anything)... great coffee, inexpensive, tons of outdoor seating and food came out within 3 minutes! I had the candied bacon biscuit with a poached egg and collard greens - great flavor! Will be back again soon!
I feel like i wasted my time traveling out here. Small menu, with poor options. Why it is rated so high is beyond me.

Not only is the food (ALL OF THE MENU) addictively delicious, the hospitality is homespun, sincere and authentic. I should know. Stampede this place. Why? Cause I said so. Brian
I live in Baltimore but visit Chicago fairly often, and Bang Bang Pie is the first place I go when I arrive, and the last place I go before I leave. I recommend this to everyone who visits Chicago and they never leave disappointed. See you again in a few weeks!
