Do not go to Banfield. It’s a doc in a box for animals apparently. I took my dog in for what is supposed to be a routine cherry eye surgery. When I picked her up from the surgery her eye looked worse than it did when I dropped her off. Dr Morgan kept telling me that it was normal keep putting cream on her eye and shoving more and more meds down her throat. 1st time taking any of my pets here. Needed an urgent appt for my kitten who had squinty eyes. I usually take my pets to the local vet, however, they were rude and booked. I called Banfield Pet Hospital and From the moment I called the front desk to make an appt, they actually were patient and understanding. Had appointments same day! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Banfield in Manahawkin. Their staff is absolutely the best! 2 weeks ago, for what was supposed to be a routine visit, my dog suffered a seizure on the way INTO Banfield. Everyone there acted quickly and calmly, lifting my 65 lb “baby” up and rushing her into an exam room. They kept me calm and informed. Every single person showed concern and compassion. Banfield at Manahawkin is awesome and they really care about your pets! Their new vet Dr.Zinna was really attentive and caring to all of our puppy’s needs. She took her time with the whole appt and made sure to answer all of our questions! Also, it helped my dog loved her immediately! It was nice to have a vet who was genuine and did not rush through the appt. We are happy to have a vet & team we can trust at Banfield. Thanks Dr. Zinna!
