So last night Nieko had a grand mal seizure it was his first one scared the hell out of us! He seems ok now but we called banfield where he has gone since a puppy and got sorry we can't fit him in today! Needless to say I have now cancelled his wellness plan with them. This was only the 2nd time in 6 years we've needed to get him in to the vet outside of his regular check up and they are "booked"! On the plus side animal hospital of Webster where he's never been graciously will see him at 10:45
I have been bringing my pets here for years. We have a new puppy and I noticed lumps on him. I walked in yesterday and the young woman at the desk took Bruschi in the back and they told me it was hives. They were attentive, gave him Benedryl and watched him for awhile. The vet came out to inform what might have happened. She told me what to look for and answered all my questions and took time even though I didn't have appointment. Just great customer service for our fur babies. I highly recommend them.
Brought my dog here two weeks ago for an ear issue - he was diagnosed with allergies and given an antihistamine. Two weeks later & its not any better, its actually gotten worse. Called them yesterday and was told he could not be seen for FIVE days. Luckily we found him a new vet that saw him this morning & actually took the time to really see what's going on. He doesn't have allergies, he's got mange from walking his favorite spot in the woods where there's abundant wildlife.... Needless to say we are pulling him out of that... read more
i can't say enough good about banfield and the staff there. amy and katie and the other techs have always been amazing with my lou and dr. augusto has been a phenomenal doctor. i am completely neurotic when it comes to my baby and for the past 12 years they have been nothing but understanding and compassionate. i tell everyone i know who has pets that they need to look in to banfield's optimum wellness plan and/or banfield (if it wasn't for this plan i wouldn't still have my guy). i could never bring him to any other vet. th... read more
I had been going to this clinic 13 years. They were great up until when my black lab was diagnosed with diabetes two years ago. When it came to her (my dog)fructosamine test, sometimes I would take them about a week to get back to me to tell her sugar was high and we had to increase her insulin...yup about a week!!!
