I have unfortunately been stuck here because of a contract that I began in Northern Virginia prior to relocating. Each time we have brought our dogs here the check in has been horrendous. This includes long waits, ineffective staff, and even avoiding stepping in dog excrement. The vets themselves at this location treat your dog like a number. My appointment was at 10am. I didn't leave till 12:30pm. River was there for a check up after taking her to Blue Pearl ER on Tuesday 12/29/2020. She was attacked by a stray cat. River's ears were pierced by the cat and her head clawed up. Her ears and head had to be shave. Up until today, River's wounds had not bled since the ER. Her wounds were healing over and no inflammation, nor goo coming out. For 5 whole days, she has not scratched her ears or her face. RecommendedI had the best experience. My baby was sick and they were great! Very caring staff and they kept me updated.
My little maltipoo was attacked by a pit bull. The doctors and staff at Banfield have taken such good care of him. They even make adorable designs on his bandages, which they’ve had to change daily in the beginning and now every two days. I’m so grateful for the care they’ve given my baby dog.

This company is owned by Mars who supports Michael Vick. Also WARNING! Banfield almost killed our dog during a spay. Then after they couldn't do the spay they said we still have to pay for the wellness plan for the rest of the year or they will send us to collections. They said we need to have another vet spay her but are still making us pay their monthly fee. Don’t waste your time with this veterinarian clinic. Waited over an hour in the exam room for a vet to come in, but she never came. Dr. Jennifer Caldwell, apparently the Chief of Staff, was assigned to my pet, already conducted the exam on my pet but was too busy with an emergency to come speak with me or send anyone to notify me while I waited over an hour in the room.
