I HAVE A CHOCOLATE LAB BROUGHT HER THERE DUE TO A NOSE BLEED THEY DIAGNOSED HER WITH AN UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTION AND GAVE HER AN ANTIBIOTIC...I CALLED THEM 2 DAYS LATER EXPLAINING SHE WASN'T BREATHING RIGHT, THEY SAID FINISH THE ANTIBIOTIC...I WENT THERE 2 DAYS AFTER THAT WITH A VIDEO OF MY BABY BREATHING, AND ONCE AGAIN I WAS TOLD FINISH THE ANTIBIOTIC...I ASKED IF THEY TOOK A CHEST X RAY SINCE THEY DIAGNOSED HER WITH AN UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTION AND THE ANSWER WAS NO!!! I see some of the posts that don't favor Banfield. I don't know which one You people Go to But my dog goes to the one in Johnston. For the last 2 years she has been getting outstanding care from them and I am very protective of her. Her Dr is Carlson and she is beyond wonderful. So maybe it's just your Dr that is the problem.
Its twice now that they decided to not give my dog medication when testing positive for a disease and now she is sick, after almost dying the 1st time because these stupid people cant correctly diagnose a kidney stone. And they overdosed her during a dental and almost lost her. She wont be going there anymore or any of my other pets, as well as I will be reporting this to BBB.
they are really accommodating, my dog has been going there for almost 5 years. anytime he is sick or recently has had two ticks they tell me to bring him right in.
They are liars and scammers and just steal your money without consent. The vets are quitting so they can't see you. Someone needs to look into their practices. We have been lied to multiple times and it has cost us a lot of money.
