Banfield hospital was not our first choice for a vet office and after our first appointment today they’d be lucky to be our last choice.... We could not get a hold of anyone over the phone, both when dropping our pup off, and when we were trying to find out when she would be ready for pickup. Her visit that should have been maybe two hours tops took SEVEN HOURS!!!!! The pricing was an absolute ripoff and we were way overcharged. Oh Banfield... I’ve been bringing my dogs here as long as I’ve had them. But one person just ruined the whole experience. I suggest having a chat with the girls at the front desk. I called this evening due to my one dog seeming a little off, explained to the girl who answered what was going on. She informed be the doctor already left for the day, so she’ll check with the technician... that part was fine. Marilyn Madonna has been coming to this location for her diva dog needs for over 9 years (and has been through quite a few of the practicing Veterinarians.) While the primary care is generally good - it is the magical Vet Tech, Taylor that makes this location shine. Taylor not only has a way of magically calming (as much as can be for an otherwise stressful situation) our sweet mini pinpomchi during each visit but has the same effect of making an otherwise neurotic, overprotective dog dad at ease, too. I can not put into words how grateful I am for this veterinary hospital. I have a young Pit who has needed some extra attention and not many vets wanted to see her because she is a Pit. I LOVE THIS PLACE and I will not take any of my animals anywhere else. They gave OZ (my dog) so much love and attention and helped set me up on a plan to get her fully taken care of. They said they would help my dog with her agonizing ruptured anal glands. Upon arriving to our appointment, they said they could only do an exam today and to bring her back in tomorrow for observation. THEN said it would be over $500 for that care. Left and took her to Wilson’s vet in Romeo and they immediately helped her and only charged us $140. It’s a drive, but Wilson’s IS the best! Best care, and now I know the best most reasonable price.
Love the way they care about my pups! Plus, the wellness plans make it affordable!
Had a great experience there . I love how they explain everything in detail and everything was done right in front of us .They were gentle and caring to my boy Rollo . I think we have found our forever Vet. Thank y’all so much
